Bachelor shocker!

Published by Chip under Verbose

I’m surprised that Travis kicked Moana to the curb. They seemed like a good fit. Just goes to show what an influence my own pre-disposition towards certain assets can cloud my perspective. I lost $50 on that, though! :)

Body Language on the Bachelor

Published by Chip under Verbose

I’ve been closely watching the last few weeks of the bachelor - partly because I’m a sap and like romance - and partly as a relationship study. It is interesting to notice how Travis leans in to kiss Moana, whereas he’s a almost alwasy standing up making Sara reach up and kiss him. Just something I’ve observed.

March 12: Boink Slut

Published by Chip under Verbose

The only real laugh out loud moment from the simpson’s tonight? Gentleman G.K. Willington III, esq. writing about Ms. Krabapple: “March 12: Boink Slut.” More funny please, simpsons. What happened to the glory of “Catch them if you can?” I’ll quote: “Come on everybody have some sexual congress, not the kind of congress that contains paul tsongas.” Perfect humor.

edit: although Marge saying “I’d like to get in to some blue pants myself” was chuckle worthy.

This was a gift from my date tonight. Makes more sense in context. More about my adventure at Geja’s Cafe (i avoided allergens!) and the rest of my evening later. For now I have to go fall asleep and dread waking up in the morning.

The Bachelor: My Pick?

Published by Chip under Verbose

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the bachelor picks Moana in the season finale next week. Of course, I thought Sara B. had him in a lock until she blew it by getting too drunk on the camping trip.

But looking at it from “a guy’s perspective” I wonder if Travis is thinking “you know, I came all the way to Paris to find a woman. Why on earth would I pick one that is from the same town that I live in?” I think Sara the teacher is the obvious pick from a logical perspective. She’s stable, fairly attractive, and looks to have a shared history based on living in the same area as the bachelor. When was the last time that logic had anything to do with romance?

I bet the bachelor picks the exotic one with the romance and the mystery, over the sure thing with the teacher. Although, if it were me, I would have picked the Canadian.

Not that I watch the bachelor…

Published by Chip under Verbose

…but if I did, the best part of the reunion show tonight (other than that fine Sara B - gimme a call hottie!) is / was the bloopers. I would probably pay to see a DVD of just bloopers. haha.
