When any of us regular schmo’s are in a police station, providing the officers of the peace with finger prints and mug shots photographs, it is called being arrested. When a rich drugged out republican Rush Limbaugh does that, he’s in and out quicker than I can get my hair cut. Oh, and it’s just a booking.

Tonight I passed a milestone - I uninstalled Winamp. In it’s various forms, it’s been my media player of choice for close to 10 years. I can remember when I installed it for the first time on my old computer in the dorms a UIUC my freshman year. I didn’t know what an MP3 was back then. Needless to say, it’s been quite a ride. With iTunes and WMP, and PowerDVD and whatever else it is I use now, I didn’t use winamp enough to justify keeping on my system. So, cheers to you Winamp and your dev team. Thanks for all the memories.

I park about a half block from my apartment building. On the way to my car Friday morning, I saw a guy that looked familiar to me exiting an adjacent apartment building. Turns out it was one of the guys that works in the same building as me. He was in jeans and flip flops, hair mussed, looking like he was in a pretty good mood. Following a few steps behind him, a blond in a business suit. Why is this worth the post? Because the guy supposedly dates the hot pilates instructor that I know, and this girl he was with was absolutely someone else! Oh the drama!
I hoped I would run into the guy at work, so I could mention that I saw someone that looked just like him this morning - so that I could see how he reacted. I didn’t get the chance. But my coworkers found this story hilarious, especially since I’ve had a crush on the pilates instructor for years.

Step 1: Get rid of old web hosting (aka my old blog) and get rid of my old flickr account. As soon as I get the archive DVD ordered from enGlaze, this step will be done. Progress: 50%.

Alright, I went out and hit some balls. I’m feeling good. Relaxed, happy that I spent some time outside, and enjoying the fact that it’s my birthday. Next on the agenda: more laundry and tv.

So I just got done watching the last two episodes of “how I met your mother.” It is a really well done show. It made me feel lonely in the same way “about a boy” did last night. Go figure?

I’m off to san fran for the weekend. Not sure about internet access, but I should be photo blogging while I’m there. For the two people that have ever read this site, you should enjoy it!
